Las Colinas Golf & Country Club unfolds across the hills of Alicante in a sweeping, amphitheatre-like form, and this map captures that signature silhouette with poise and clarity. The routing arcs in a broad ring around a tranquil central void, giving the composition a rare sense of air and balance. Seen from above, the course’s personality becomes unmistakable — refined corridors of green shaping a contemporary Spanish classic, distilled into elegant, modern wall art.

The visual rhythm is beautifully varied. Long diagonal stretches skim the upper edge, while the right side settles into a striking vertical cadence of tall, narrow holes. In the lower-left and lower-centre, the design tightens and becomes more intricate, where a chain of soft blue water features and clusters of sandy-gold bunkers carve out strategic tension. Throughout, the fairways bend and taper, hinting at doglegs and pinched landing areas that ask for precision as much as ambition.

Water is a quiet protagonist on this course. A winding stream threads the lower-left before giving way to a larger, organic lake near the centre-right — a dominant shape that seems to draw nearby holes into its orbit. A slim, vertical pond on the mid-right adds a sleek counterpoint, its presence sharpening the lines of the adjacent fairway. Together with sculpted, granular bunkering, these features lend the map a clean graphic energy while evoking the on-course drama golfers remember.

Rendered in a restrained, premium palette, this piece balances accuracy with artistry. It spotlights the separation of holes, the delicate interface between turf and sand, and the calm geometry of water that defines Las Colinas. For members, visitors, and those who dream of playing here, it’s a sophisticated celebration of place — a thoughtful way to mark a special round, a Spanish golf trip, or a long-standing connection to the club.

Clean, modern design — made from real data

We build each course map by hand from high‑resolution mapping sources, bringing the true layout of every hole, fairway, bunker, and water feature into crisp focus with a refined, contemporary aesthetic.

The palette is minimal and timeless, with elegant typography and carefully drawn landforms that preserve the course’s distinctive ring-like routing, parallel rhythms, and fluid, painterly edges.

Looks good anywhere

The clean lines and understated colours suit almost any setting — from a contemporary living room to a study, office, golf room, hallway, or clubhouse — adding character without overpowering the space.

Customisation, sizing and framing

For guidance on size, colour or framing, or to request an option that is not available online, please contact us. A member of our team will be happy to advise, and we usually respond within a few minutes.

The fifth listing image shows an example of our map personalisation service. Zoom in to see how the additional details have been integrated into the original design, or browse more examples of personalised maps.

You can also choose to have your map carefully aged, giving it the softer colour, patina and character of an older antique print. An example is shown in the sixth listing image, and you can view further examples of our ageing treatments.

The model in the listing images is holding the 18x24in (45x60cm) version of this map.

This golf course map can be printed and framed at sizes up to 3 metres (10ft). For a bespoke size or framing option that is not shown online, please get in touch.

The map is available as a giclée print on acid-free archival matte paper, or professionally framed and ready to hang. Our standard frames are offered in six carefully selected finishes: black, dark brown, dark grey, antique gold, oak and white. A wider range of mouldings, mounts and finishes is available through our custom framing service.

Our frames are glazed with super-clear museum-grade acrylic, chosen for its excellent clarity and reduced reflections. It is also substantially lighter and safer than conventional glass, making it particularly well suited to larger framed maps.

This map is also available as a float framed canvas, sometimes known as a shadow gap framed canvas or canvas floater. The map is printed on artist's cotton canvas and then stretched over a handmade box frame. We then "float" the canvas inside a wooden frame, which is available in a range of colours (black, dark brown, oak, antique gold and white). This is a wonderful way to present a map without glazing in front. See some examples of float framed canvas maps and explore the differences between my different finishes.

For something truly unique, this map is also available in "Unique 3D", our trademarked process that dramatically transforms the map so that it has a wonderful sense of depth. We combine the original map with detailed topography and elevation data, so that mountains and the terrain really "pop". For more info and examples of 3D maps, check my Unique 3D page.
