The map is divided up into its ancient regions, as described by the Bible: Judea, Samaria, Galilee, and even Phoenicia.
In modern day terms, this map of Palestine covers Israel, the West Bank, Gaza, and parts of Jordan.
Around the edges of the map are detailed, wonderfully handcoloured engravings of important landmarks such as the Tomb of Absalom, Church of the Holy Sepulchre and Nazareth.
This map looks great at all sizes: 12x16 inches (30x40cm), 16x20 inches (40x50cm), 18x24 inches (45x60cm) and 24x36 (60x90cm) but it looks even better when printed large. I can create beautiful, large prints of this map up to 70 inches (180cm) tall. Please get in touch if you're looking for larger, customised or different framing options.
The model in the listing images is holding the 20x16 inch (50x40cm) version of this map.
The fifth listing image shows an example of my map personalisation service.
I also have a map of the region from 1627 by John Speed - then called Canaan or the Holy Land.
This map would make a great birthday or Christmas gift for someone from the region, or who is interested in the history of the Holy Land.
You can order the map itself, or you can order a framed version. The frame is a nice, simple black frame that really makes our maps pop out when on a wall. Please get in touch if you'd like a different frame, or if you'd like a larger framed map. We use super-clear acrylic (perspex/acrylite) in our frames - it's less reflective than glass and better for transport.

I use a unique process to restore my maps that is massively time consuming and labour intensive. Hunting down the original maps can take months. I use state of the art and eye-wateringly expensive technology to scan and restore the maps. As a result, I guarantee my maps are a cut above the rest - that's why I can offer a no-quibble refund.
Almost all of my maps look amazing at large sizes (200cm, 6.5ft+) and I can frame and deliver them to you as well, via special oversized courier. Contact me to discuss your specific needs.
