I ordered a map of Lancaster as a Christmas present for my husband. He absolutely loves it and has learnt so much about the area we have recently moved to. Fantastic customised map with great communication from the company.
They were able to find and customize a great map even during the very busy Christmas time, as you can see it is beautiful. You can see here the original map prior to 3D treatment and then the final result. Amazing! This is also an example of their aged map option which I think makes it all the better.
In the close up you can see the personalization that they put in for me featuring the locations of the first and last home my parents owned after moving to the area. They will be moving soon and this will be an amazing reminder of the beautiful area that they love. I was so impressed with how they worked with me to get the exact right part of the map that I wanted. They were responsive and sent me pictures of the map I would be buying. It's now hung prominently on my wall and I couldn't be happier with it!!

A very special and personal gift for my husbands 40th. The team worked with my brief - making a bespoke layout of the star map to include four different night skies for all the members of our family's birthdays. They worked quickly and new exactly what was needed even if my vision wasn't exactly clear in my head yet. I like to save tickets and memorabilia from the countries I visit and display them. I find the best way is to surround a black and white map of the country so that they show up well. Unfortunately I searched high and low for a specific map of two neighbouring countries but couldn’t find what I was after until, I found The Unique Maps Co. and was offered a custom made map. I am thrilled with the results, how quickly it was designed and value for money. I will definitely be requesting more after my next travels.

Whoa, the mountains actually pop right out of the map. It’s wild. Don’t think I’d bother if I lived somewhere flat, but if you’ve got a coastline or cool terrain, I bet it looks awesome. I found Sebastian to be very helpful and when our map was delivered damaged by the courier he was quick to deal with the issue and arrange a replacement to be delivered straight away.

Excellent service from start to finish. Dominic managed to find a 1908 map of our village and added an image of a Golden Retriever at the side of our cottage. We are so pleased and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this company.
I purchased a couple of personalised maps for my mums 80th and step dads 70th birthdays. They were from where they both grew up as children in Middlesbrough and London respectively so managed to get the maps dated back to the 40’s and 50’s and even had their houses marked on the map. They were the perfect present and there was plenty of tears as they brought back many fond memories. They were the perfect present and would highly recommend to anyone looking for something special and a little different for a gift.

I had been looking for old maps of my area for a while. Stumbled across this website on Facebook and saw the lovely maps. The website said to get in touch, so I did, to see if they had anything in the area I wanted maps for. They did! Through lots of direct messaging on what was available I then decided I wanted an old map and an equivalent new map of the same area and they confirmed they could do it! They made sure I was happy with the area and the detail, and provided lots of drafts for me to review before confirming the order. Customer service was second to none.
So even if you don't see exactly what you want on the website, get in touch to see what they can do for you... It's worth it.

I am delighted with the map.
I was looking for a large vintage map that covered both Manchester and Stockport, but couldn't find one.
I emailed Unique Maps Co. with a map of manchester in the style I liked, and they quickly sent me a preview of an extended version that included stockport.
The communication and personal service was fantastic. They were happy to adjust details, such as the colour of the title and the style of the key, and sent me a number of adjustments until I was completely happy.

Dominic was very helpful sourcing a map of the site of my Sons pub on the Welsh border. I’m currently having it framed and when I get it back I will photograph it and send it to you.

If you're looking for an older looking map, select the "Aged" tone for your map. We will use a secret process, developed over two decades by our founder and chief designer, to make the map look older.
Generally we recommend our 'balanced' aged colour tone. 'Subtle' is a good option if you just want to add a bit of character around the edges of the map. 'Rich' will heavily age the edges and the centre of the map, darkening the overall appearance significantly.
